Circulating Fundstrat 2026 outlook warns of pullback vs Tom Lee

A report attributed to Fundstrat Global Advisors circulating on social media outlines a potential cryptocurrency decline in the first half of 2026, setting downside targets for Bitcoin, Ether and Solana.

According to screenshots shared on X, the document, presented as internal 2026 crypto strategy guidance, projects Bitcoin (BTC) could retreat to $60,000–$65,000, Ether (ETH) to $1,800–$2,000, and Solana (SOL) to $50–$75 before potentially offering entry points later in the year.

The material has not been publicly released by Fundstrat, and its authenticity had not been independently verified at the time of publication. Multiple crypto-focused accounts, including Wu Blockchain, have stated the document was distributed to internal clients.

Tom Lee is managing partner and head of research at Fundstrat. The circulating 2026 outlook is credited to Sean Farrell, the firm’s head of digital asset strategy.

Lee says Ether is “grossly undervalued”

The reported guidance contrasts with Lee’s recent public remarks at Binance Blockchain Week in Dubai earlier this month. Lee said Bitcoin could reach $250,000 within months and described Ether around $3,000 as “grossly undervalued.”

Lee added that if Ether reverts to its eight-year average ratio versus Bitcoin, its price could approach $12,000. A return to 2021 relative levels would imply prices near $22,000, while an ETH/BTC ratio of 0.25 would suggest valuations above $60,000, according to his presentation.

In November, Lee also said Ether was entering a trajectory similar to Bitcoin’s, which saw BTC appreciate more than 100 times since 2017.

BitMine increases Ether accumulation

In a Dec. 8 disclosure, BitMine reported holding nearly 3.9 million ETH as of Dec. 7 after adding more than 138,000 ETH in a single week. The firm said its holdings represent over 3.2% of Ether’s total supply.
